Upcoming Events

Wednesday, October 24th

The Tide is rising, but don’t head for higher ground because you’ll want to be downtown.

Beer Tasting at Bangor Wine and Cheese! Come down and check out what Rising Tide Brewing Company has to offer from 5-7pm. If you find something you like head on over to Nocturnem Draft Haus…

Rising Tide tap takeover at Nocturnem Draft Haus. From 7pm-1am the Rising Tide crew is bringing 6-8 of their finest brews to the Haus.

I’ll be attending both of these events, hope to see you there!

Saturday, October 27th

Downtown Bangor’s 3rd annual trick or treating. 25+ downtown businesses will be participating from 3-5pm. This isn’t an event I would normally add to a Beer events page but Central Street Farmhouse is one of the businesses and it’s a great opportunity to point out that homebrew kit or Live Maine T-shirt you want Santa to bring.

Tuesday, October 30th

Beer Brewing 101 at Central Street Farmhouse starts at 5pm. This is a free event and is open to the public, just show up and learn how to brew great beer at home.

Friday, November 2nd

Evening with the Brewers; purchase tickets for an evening with some of Maine’s finest craft brewers before you head to the Maine Brewers Festival on Saturday. The event allows ticketed participants five specially selected pours that pair with the food being served. This event is being held at the Thirsty Pig in Portland.

Saturday November 3rd

Maine Brewers Festival is held at the Portland Expo, there are two sessions; the happy hour session runs from 1:30-5pm and the evening session from 6:30-10pm. Your ticket gets you access to Maine’s best craft brews, a complimentary sample glass and tickets for 12 four ounce pours.
