In a press release today, Funky Bow Brewing Company of Lyman, Maine made two big announcements. The brewery will begin canning their beer and they have partnered with Pine State Beverage Company of Gardiner, Maine to expand their availability statewide. Funky Bow is currently available at the brewery and on tap at select locations around southern Maine.

Funky Bow is a small family owned and operated brewery, father and son team Paul and Abraham Lorrain have been operating the brewery on the family farm for the past year. Funky Bow will initially be filling 12oz cans with their End of the Line Pale Ale and So Folkin’ Hoppy IPA, seasonal releases will be canned as well. The brewery is known for hosting their “Growler Night” on Friday evenings at the brewery treating their guests with bonfires, food and live bluegrass music. The decision to begin filling cans and paring with Pine State will expand their distribution area from southern Maine to statewide. “We interviewed distributors in Massachusetts as well as Maine; we chose Pine State for their distribution reach and the quality of their people,” Paul Lorrain said.

Look for Funky Bow on the shelves of a retailer near you in early July, until then visit them at the brewery in Lyman or select bars around southern Maine.
