Kahbang announces Bangor brewfest special guest The Brewing Network

The Kahbang Brewfest has announced they will be welcoming special guest, The Brewing Network to the Bangor waterfront this summer. The Brewing Network is a popular internet radio station focused on homebrewing and craft beer. The Brewing Network was started in 2005 with “The Sunday Session Live” and now produces The Sunday Session, The Jamil Show, Brew Strong, The Homebrew Chef and Lunch Meet.

This Year’s Kahbang Brewfest will be held Friday and Saturday, August 8th and 9th and will include a Friday night K.E.G party and BBQ that sounds like an intimate beer tasting highlighting some local breweries and a Barbeque. Saturday there will be an all-day homebrewing expo on the waterfront with product and equipment demos, speakers and beer tastings with local homebrewers chosen from the Maine Homebrewers Competition. The Kahbang Brewfest will have some 40+ different beers from local New England breweries and beyond paired with live music.

The Brewing Network will be in town on Friday and spending Saturday at the Homebrew Expo, they will also record a special hour long “The Session” from the Kahbang Brewfest with interviews from participants and brewers. I emailed Scott Moskowitz from the Brewing Network and asked him about coming to Bangor, to which he responded: “The Brewing Network is stoked to come party at the Bangor waterfront for KAHBANG 6! We’re no strangers to Maine’s storied craft beer heritage, having featured industry leaders Allagash and Shipyard on our show in years past. We are looking forward to experiencing the scene in-person, and bringing it all back to the BN Army on The Session in August!”

I reached out to Zeth Lundy of the Central Street Farmhouse, my “go to” for all things homebrew and asked him what he thought of the Brewing Network signing on as special guest for the Kahbang Brewfest, “We are all big fans of the Brewing Network around the store, especially “The Sunday Session” and “Brew Strong.” We’ve been paying close attention to them for at least the last few years. The Brewing Network is a great place to glimpse upcoming trends, hear some great insights to brewing, and laugh regularly.” Said Zeth “I believe having them around will further energize what’s already proven to be an electric weekend in Bangor.”

Tickets for the Kahbang Brewfest are currently available and at the very best price right now. Early ticket pricing ends on April 1, check out their page for pricing information and ticket purchases.

Cheers!
