Great Falls Brewfest LogoThe Brewfest is a culmination of knowledge and experience gained by the Baxter Brewing Company while pouring at brewfests around the country. The festival is boasting 30 breweries hand-picked by the Baxter crew, live music from The Ghost of Paul Revere and The Squid Jiggers, an outdoor art installation and mini craft fair, cornhole tournament, climbing wall and other outdoor activities sponsored by Baxter Outdoors and of course some of Maine’s finest food trucks will be on hand.

The day kicks off with the third annual Androscoggin River Cleanup event; this is a volunteer event in collaboration with the Androscoggin Land Trust. Volunteers work from 8:30-11:30am by raft, canoe or kayak cleaning up the river, preparing it for a summer of paddling fun. Volunteers receive a free BBQ lunch at the Fire House Grille and a Baxter beer. Following the river cleanup from Noon-1pm is the VIP tasting session; each brewery will be pouring a special small batch beer that will only be available at the one hour VIP session. The general admission session of the Brewfest will run from 1-5pm. This is a rain or shine event.
