On Saturday, December 6, 2014 Maine Beer Company in Freeport, Maine will be releasing bottles of their highly sought after Double IPA, Dinner.
- Saturday, December 6, 2014
- 1 case limit per person
- $8/bottle (12 bottles in a case)
- Maine Beer Company accepts cash and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover) but does not allow personal checks.
- Dinner is only available at the brewery, bottles will not be distributed.
- Beer goes on sale at 8am.
Maine Beer Company has decided to make a few changes to this release.Instead of lining up outside and entering through the tasting room there will be signage directing people to line up at the bottom of the ramp at the back of the brewery, at 7:15 the doors to the brewery will be opened so that the line will enter through the brewery and exit through the tasting room. These changes will allow people to stand inside. It’s December in Maine so anyone planning to attend should still dress accordingly in case the line still extends outside. Complimentary Coffee By Design and other breakfast items will be available.
Once you have reached the tasting room there will be no samples available, if you want Dinner on draft you’ll have to come back after the bottles have all sold out and the tasting room is opened back up for regular business (in the afternoon). Dinner is available with a 1 case per person limit, there will also be other Maine Beer Company beers available for purchase during the event. Once Dinner has gone on sale they will be announcing how much is still available so anyone who arrives late will have an idea whether they’ll be able to buy Dinner or not.
Looks like Maine Beer Company has put together a good plan for the fourth release of Dinner. Aside from maybe the deer hunters there aren’t many people who want to spend hours standing outside in December. Good luck to the beer hunters out there.
